Integrative Foot Zoning™
Listen to the Story. Support the Blueprint.
More than a wellness technique — a whole-person approach to understanding and supporting the body's remarkable capacity for balance.
What It Is
What Is Integrative Foot Zoning™?
Integrative Foot Zoning™ is a holistic wellness modality that uses specific techniques on the feet to support the body's interconnected systems. The feet contain thousands of nerve endings and correspond with systems throughout the body.
During each session, I work through precise areas of the feet using techniques developed through Integrative Foot Zoning™ training. While every session is unique, the intention is always the same: to encourage relaxation, support the body's natural processes, promote circulation and lymphatic movement, and help you better understand your body's unique story.
Integrative Foot Zoning is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, and should not replace medical care from a licensed healthcare provider.
The History of Integrative Foot Zoning
The practice of working with the feet to support health and wellness has roots that span thousands of years. Historical evidence — including carvings found in the tomb of the Egyptian physician Ankhmahor dating to approximately 2330 BC — depicts practitioners working on the hands and feet as part of their approach to healing.
In the early 1900s, Dr. William Fitzgerald advanced the study of Zone Therapy by identifying ten vertical zones that connect the body, laying the foundation for modern foot zoning. Over time, Foot Zone Therapy continued to evolve through pioneers such as Dr. Charles Ersdal and Katri Nordblom, whose research expanded the understanding of the body's signals through the feet and ultimately led to the development of FootZonology.
Building on this foundation, Amber Bodily, founder of Integrative Foot Zoning™, expanded the practice by integrating principles from nutrition, biomagnetism, phototherapy, herbalism, and other holistic wellness disciplines. Recognized internationally for her teaching and research, Amber has trained practitioners around the world. At Bybee Foot Zoning, I am honored to have received my training in Integrative Foot Zoning™ through Amber Bodily.
A Whole-Person Approach
We Are More Than Symptoms
One of the things I love most about Integrative Foot Zoning™ is that it recognizes that health isn't simply physical. That is why every session looks at the whole person — not just one concern.
- Our emotional experiences
- Our thoughts and stress
- Our nutrition and hydration
- Our environment and relationships
More Than a Session
Every Appointment Is an Opportunity to Understand Your Body
In addition to your personalized foot zoning session, our conversation may include educational topics such as:
- Nutrition and whole-food choices
- Lifestyle habits and hydration
- Herbs and dietary supplements
- Stress management
- Rest and recovery
- Wellness goals
These conversations are educational and intended to help you make informed choices in partnership with your healthcare providers.
My Training
Trained Through Amber Bodily
I received my training in Integrative Foot Zoning™ through Amber Bodily, founder of the modality. Amber has spent years expanding traditional foot zoning through research, education, and the integration of multiple wellness disciplines.
I am honored to continue learning and applying these principles as I serve each client with compassion, integrity, and respect.
